...did anyone see Corrie last night? I was fuming with how they
portrayed homebirth as a more dangerous option for first time Mums.
Sean's partner who is meant to be a medical professional was also anti
homebirth. Admittedly, I know the statistics for first timers who
want a home birth actually achieving it are not that high (I think it
is about 50%?) but they made out that it was a danger. I was
literally shouting at the TV!

I hope Violet goes on to have the perfect homebirth and encourages
morewomen to consider homebirth as an option.
