One week to go before the closing bell for submitting comments regarding the Notices of Proposed Rule Making (NPRM's) -- i.e., draft federal regulations -- that were published in the Federal Register on 8/22/2008 to update HIPAA transactions and code sets . Remember, anybody may submit comments regarding these NPRM's until 5:00 p.m. Eastern time on Tuesday, 10/21/2008. The electronic submittal sites allow both inline text and/or attachments, using a variety of formats, to be recorded.
