Subject: Help getting NPI survey out?
Dave -
Can I ask a favor?
Can you help me get word out to the EDI community about our NPI Contingency Status Survey?
We put it together very quickly and so did not have time to get "official" endorsements. Instead we created a non-commercial, no-endorsement-implied invitation that should meet most listserv requirements.
Even though we put it together in less than a week, it's a pretty robust survey, and the results could be dramatic.
We're going to stop collecting responses on Saturday, then release the results data -- to anyone who asks -- the following week.
Here's the "generic" invitation, suitable for copy/paste and post:

Please Respond to the NPI Contingency Status Survey
Healthcare IT Transition Group is sponsoring a free, open-access survey to assess the readiness of the healthcare industry for the May 23 deadline for National Provider Identifier implementation. HITTG invites payers, providers, clearinghouses and others involved in claims processing to get specific about facts on the ground. Full, de-identified results will be free to all, shortly after the survey concludes at midnight EDT, Saturday April 19, 2008.
Please feel free to forward this message to others who may be interested in participation. The appearance of this message on any discussion list, forum or website does not constitute an endorsement by the organization hosting such content.
