WEDI NPIOI is currently seeking proposals for educational programs that address: Ø Cross walking. Strategies for matching and cross walking the NPI to health plan legacy identifiers to ensure proper health plan operations and provider reimbursement. Ø Testing. Business practices and communication effected. Ø Information Exchange between trading partners, providers, health plans and clearinghouses. Ø X12N 835 and the impact of the NPI. Ø Contingency planning if dates are not met by payers or providers. Ø Other issues you propose to address at the November NPI Industry Forum:____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The WEDI NPIOI Conferences Sub Workgroup is especially looking for presentations that offer advanced level instruction and case studies. The NPIOI Conferences SWG will review all proposals that are submitted, whether they address these specific points, or address other NPI issues you feel are important to the industry.
