ShareHIPAA will remain a no discussion listserv. This decision is
based on the following: less than 10% of the ShareHIPAA subscribers
participated in the recent poll, only 5 votes separated the results,
and there are many listservs that provide a discussion forum for
HIPAA issues.
There are now 1,026 subscribers to ShareHIPAA. Many requests are
received daily for specific documents. If you have white papers,
PowerPoint presentations, policies and procedures, forms or other
information that would be beneficial to others, that has no
copyright, is not easily available on the internet, and that you are
allowed to share, please consider posting them to ShareHIPAA.
There are many documents that have been uploaded to the Files section
of ShareHIPAA in addition to what has been posted to the message
section. To access the files section of ShareHIPAA, go to the
ShareHIPAA home page at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ShareHIPAA ,
sign in, and select "Files" from the left column. Any ShareHIPAA
member may upload files to the Files section. Only ShareHIPAA
subscribers may access and download from the Files section.
Please let others know about ShareHIPAA, and ask them to join and
post any non-copyright material they may be willing to share to help
others in their HIPAA compliance initiative. All they need to do is
go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ShareHIPAA, select "Join This
Group" and follow the instructions.
