WEDI seeks your organization's ideas and concerns about the draft WEDI Health Identification Card Implementation Guide released on June 3, 2006. The intent of the proposed guide is to standardize present practice, to bring uniformity of information, appearance, and technology to over 100 million health cards now issued by providers, health plans, government programs, and others... The benefit is potentially very high. Please feel free to distribute this proposed guide to your members and invite them to submit comments and recommendations and attend the July 12th Forum in Chicago.
