The HIPAA Enforcement NPRM was submitted anew again last week for
clearance from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). Thus, it will
not be published this month [February, 2005] in the Federal Register as
originally targeted. Typically, OMB clearance for an NPRM takes
approximately 7 to 13 weeks.
