The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has published new guidance on the HIPAA Security Rule on the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) page of its HIPAA administrative simplification Web site, www.cms.hhs.gov/hipaa/hipaa2.  

CMS distributed the attached document containing the FAQs today.
