Security ICE: Provider's Perspective attempts to present the issues, concerns, and enforcement of the HIPAA Security Rule from the provider's perspective, and also provide a high level narrative on how you might start your risk assessment and mitigation planning. The PowerPoint outlines the steps you may want to take in your security risk assessment and mitigation planning. The information contained in the attachments are the findings of the HIPAA/NIST Security Test Group of the security module of HIPAA ComplyAssistant, a HIPAA compliance management tool. Several volunteers helped with the content by reviewing the draft. I hope you find the attachments useful.

This was my first attempt at recording a Microsoft Office Live Meeting, and sense I was using a 56K dial-up modem in South Carolina, and Gerry Blass was using a cable modem in New Jersey, the recordings are a little bumpy. I hope you enjoy it!
