Welcome to Sensory Street (tm)...

Sensory Street is a growing community whose members share ways to support children/teens/adults with Sensory Processing Disorder(SPD).

Anyone whose lives are touched by SPD is welcome on Sensory Street.

Parents, extended family, educators, and practitioners from all backgrounds are invited to talk about SPD, as well as other disorders with a sensory component: Autism, AD/HD, CAPD, Speech Delays.

Traditional and alternative therapies for SPD and other sensory-based issues are openly explored here.

Sensory Street(tm) supports the research and advocacy efforts of Lucy Jane Miller, Ph.D., OTR, and her organizations: SPD Foundation (www.spdfoundation.net) and STAR Center (www.starcenter.us).

We're based in Baltimore, MD, but there's always a place on Sensory Street (tm) for everyone whose lives are touched by SPD.
