Ok, so here's the deal:
MONDAY, December 8, Journal Club/Patient Approach Meeting from 6-7pm at my apartment - 144 Ben Yehuda, Apartment 5. This location may change, but it is tentatively scheduled for here...I will send out the article and patient approach in the next few days...
and
WEDNESDAY, December 10, Part One of ER Basics Course from 5-7pm in Room 201 and/or hallway right outside the classroom in the Sackler Building. We will try to cover some basics with hands-on experience/learning and then have a Part Two of this ER Basics Course perhaps the following week if this one is a success.
So, with this all said, I need people to respond/confirm their attendance to Monday and/or Wednesday just so I have an idea of how many people are showing up.
Also, Ella, please send this on your listserve (Class 2012) and Elena, please do the same on your listserve (Class 2011).
Thanks and if you guys have any other questions, please email/contact me...
See you soon,

Hey 9-1-1'ers,
First off, hope you had a nice Thanksgiving weekend.
Second off, we need more members for Sackler 911 and more importantly, more ACTIVE members. So, those in Class 2012 and 2011, please spread this email on your listserves and tell them to join at www.sacklersom.com. Now, here is how to get involved:
a) We will have a Journal Meeting next week (either Monday or Tuesday evening around 6pm) in Tel Aviv for 1 hour. Please tell me what day is better for you and I will tell you the location - either my apartment or a cafe or near the beach. I will send out ONE current journal article to the listserve and also ONE common approach to a patient with something/procedure and we will discuss.
b) We will have an Emergency Course next week (day to be decided) in the Sackler Building for 2 hours. We will try to go over blood pressure, auscultation of heart sounds, EKG's, splinting/casting, heimlich maneuver, etc.
c) We will try to schedule time for a PHR Clinic or Free Health Clinic outing - anyone with further information (ie PHR members) please get back to me with details and viability.
d) We will try to schedule time for anyone interested in coming into the ER for a few hours to observe/learn the "real" medicine of the ER. Anyone interested please email me.
Ok, so, how does this all sound? Looking forward to next week's meeting(s) and the future of Sackler911...
Any questions OR ideas, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Best,
Jared

P.S. Thanks Glenn for sending out the daily questions.
