The Answer is:

The most commonly reported adverse effects of IV acetylcysteine are anaphylactoid reactions (rash, pruritus, angioedema, bronchospasm, and hypotension) which occur in about 15% of patients within 2 hours after the initial infusion (NEJM;359(3):285).
