Greetings everyone
There has been a change in leadership and Dana King and I, who are now the
co-chairs are working on trying to get things moving. One thing I am waiting
for is information from the last person who ran this listserve, so we can move
it to my university.
I appreciate the fact that a conversation is going on regarding what is
happening at various places.
We have a Templeton Grant for both pre-doc and graduate programs in medicine and
spirituality at Oregon Health and Science. We would be happy to share ideas,
and lessons learned with others interested in developing curricula. I am sure
there are others out there who feel the same way.
One thing we hope to do is survey folk and find out about interests, ongoing
programs, such as these kinds of curricla, and other efforts. An official
survey is in the works.
But, in the meantime, keep talking,
and let us know what kinds of "conversations" you would like to see occur via
this listserve.
Thanks
STEVE

The group seems to have been quiet for some time. A group of us are working on
developing a curriculum for FP residency in spirituality and medicine and
implementing it through the seven residency sites in South Carolina. We will be
presenting the tentative results at the regional STFM meeting in Charleston in
October. I didn't have time to get our act together before the deadline for
applying for the Templeton grants. Will proceed in spite of limited resources.
Any ideas or resources members can point us to will be greatly appreciated.
Stuart Sprague
