We have organized because we believe that change is needed in the suicide survivor, prevention and awareness communities.
Our members come from various walks of life but all hold an interest in the appropriate handling of matters relating to suicide.
Some of the many things our mission consists of:
1. Promote responsible support and guidance for suicide survivors.
2. Protect vulnerable individuals who may be affected by the actions of others by correcting misguided/uninformed actions of others, be it the general public, survivors or media.
3. Contact those holding government offices to advocate for laws that would be helpful in suicide prevention and awareness and mental health.
4. Provide input to the various organizations who may create new guidelines, recommendations or rules before they are changed and set in relation to suicide survivors, prevention and awareness.
5. Make recommendations as to changes that are necessary to promote the safest environment possible for all interested parties.
