SMC has launched a self-owned online discussion community, the Single Mothers by Choice Forum. As a result, this Yahoogroup has been closed. The Forum has been up and running since June 2011. You will find hundreds of topics there in dozens of areas, from thinking about becoming an SMC to the steps of adoption and conception, from parenting children of all ages to the problems of being a member of the sandwich generation. Whether it's practical advice, moral support, or a listening ear, you'll find it on the SMC Forum.

Activation of your account is a manual process and takes place once the SMC office or one of the SMC Community Moderators (known as the Listmamas) have identified you as a current member of the organization.
