SUPPORT FOR LOVED ONES OF MILITARY MEN AND WOMEN WHO SUFFERED FROM POST TRAUMATIC (Tramatic) STRESS DISORDER AND LOST THE BATTLE OF THE DEMONS BY TAKING THEIR LIVES TO FIND PEACE.
This is an EXCLUSIVE/PRIVATE group was created to connect the IMMEDIATE families (parents, wives, children, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins) of military men and women from Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Korea, WW2, war in general OR in peace time who have lost their loved one to suicide.
Here you can connect with people who DO KNOW what you're going through.
Our mission is to hopefully and with God's help, prevent it from ever happening to anyone else's family.
It was created in the memory of Joshua Lee Omvig, who was an American Hero. Josh served in Iraq and took his life on December 22, 2005 after suffering for more than a year with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and telling his family the "faces and voices" just wouldn't go away. Josh was an MP.
This group is manned by his family who are desperately hoping to connect with other families who have suffered the same loss.
If we can make a difference in ONE life, Josh's death will not have been in vain.
