Do you have Sjögren's? Know someone that does? This is a great source of support. Sjogrens is more than just dry eyes, dry mouth. There is a lot the doctors don’t tell you about Sjogrens. You don't have to have Sjögren's to join us. Lots of us have other auto immune disease too! Fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid, Osteoporosis, Lupus, Raynauds, and other chronic illness.
We are United for all around support; more than just a support group. We are a family sharing information about connective tissue diseases. We offer support, love,and understanding. We share tears, joys, fears, pictures, share our days, vent, cry and laugh together. Men are welcome and encouraged to join as well as Women. SO Many times it is the support of others who understand what we are going through that makes our lives easier. For most of us not even our own friends and families understand us. They don't understand why it takes us three days to do what we used to do in one hour if we even get it done at all. Lots of us loose the love of our spouse because we are not that"healthy person"they once knew. Our children don’t know why MOM or DAD can’t do things with them like they used to and why do they have to sleep all the time? We get angry with our selves because we can’t do the things we once did. It is a major effort just to get out of bed, into the shower or just to get dressed. We are there for people of all beliefs. You can even pick your very own angel nickname if you like. The Angel Names are just used for fun. Won't you come join us?
