Hey guys,

There is a great non-profit out of San Francisco called Healing
Waters that puts together white water rafting trips for people with
HIV. It's over a weekend and is on a river near Sacramento. They
pick up participants on that Saturday morning in San Francisco and
then return you to the same spot on Sunday evening. All food and
sleeping equipment is provided, and the trips are supervised by
professionally trained rafting guides. The entire weekend costs
just $25!

I've arranged with Healing Waters to have up to three weekend trips
reserved primarily for guys from SIN. To be eligible for a trip you
have to submit three forms and two checks for $25. One check is the
fee and the other is reserve your spot on the trip. When you have
completed the trip, you get your $25 check back. The forms include
medical information, a general release and some personal info. The
application deadline is April 30th. You can learn more about

When you submit your application, please mention that you belong to
SIN and list which weekend you are most interested in. The three
available weekends for SIN guys are:

August 7 & 8
August 21 & 22
Sept. 11 & 12

They pick up participants at a predetermined location on 7 AM on
Saturday. We might be able to arrange for later pick up so guys can
fly into San Francisco Airport in the early morning and get picked
up directly at the Airport. I'll work on arrange that if we get
enough guys going on any of those weekends listed above.

When you are sending in your application, please be so kind as to
email me as well and let me know the dates you chose so I'll be able
to also keep track of how many of our guys are going and when. You
are also free to fly into SF prior to that weekend and
meet the van at the predetermine pick up location.

one of the rafting trips last year but got the flu so I'm going this
year for sure! This is an amazing opportunity to enjoy a really
great adventure vacation for just $25. Usually rafting weekends
