Hey guys,

I'm resolving to be a better 'leader' of our group, starting directly
and effectively right NOW!! Unless I decide to do it tomorrow.

Anyways, we didn't have any SIN activities in September, and I want to
make up for it this month.

I sent out an e-vite just minutes ago for a house party this Saturday.
I apologize for the short notice, and I really hope you can all
attend. I debated about moving the party back into the month, but I
decided that it was a little more important to get us having
activities again, and to keep our calendar consistent.

We'll be learning to play Texas Hold'em at my house; I'll supply some
snacks, you BYOB. Click on your e-vite for all the details, and
please, please RSVP, even if it is 'no'. And if you didn't get an
e-vite, please e-mail me. It may be a small event, due to the short
notice, which would be a perfect opportunity for those of you who have
never been to a SIN event to come and check us out!

SINday Brunch is also scheduled for Sunday the 16th, at the usual time
and place: 2pm at The Other Place.

I'm also considering some kind of SIN Halloween event later in the
month. More details will surely follow.

And, just to but an suggestion out there: if anyone would like to
host or co-host the November House Party, please let me know. I have
it scheduled for the 12th. And ideas for parties are always
appreciated as well!!
