ACTIVITY DETAILS:

Thursday, October 6 thru Sunday, October 10: Car Camping in
Canyonlands.
Celebrate the end of the LHC summer 2005 season by joining us in this
delightful car camp. We will camp in the Squaw Flats Campground (first
come first served, $10/night – get there early!) and take day hikes
into the spectacular Chessler Park area. Don't forget the Awards
Potluck on Saturday night! More details will be posted in September.

Saturday, October 16: Hike – Indian Trail near Ogden.
We will carpool to the trailhead at the east end of 22nd Street in
Ogden. Those who want to join us at the trailhead should be there by
11:15. This delightful trail traverses through several types of forest
and provides great views of the city of Ogden and Ogden Canyon. The
trail is 4.3 miles long and rises from 4,600 feet to 5,600 feet.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
We meet for activities every first and third Saturday of the month.
We meet at 10:00 AM at the parking lot south of the Chevron station on
the corner of 700 East and 200 South in Salt Lake City.
