I would be in favor of your suggestions.  It is kind of you to offer your home.  If I were not living with family I would organize something in my home.  Maybe in the near future I will be living on my own again.  Pizza, beer and a movie sounded great, I would be more than happy to throw $10 to $20 in with everyone else’s cash to pay for the pizza, beer and movies or just the pizza and movies and have everyone bring their own beverage.  Coffee would be fine also but the movie idea will allow us to spend more time together as a group getting to know each other on a personal side.  You also made a suggestion about bowling.  Bowling and beer with a group of guys is always a good time.  Let me know if you could use some assistance in setting things up.  I would be happy to come early and/or stay late to help get things ready and/or clean things up.
