Hey guys,

After exchanging a few e-mails with Bryan in L.A., I've volunteered to
be the chapter captain for SIN-SLC. It's an opportunity that I'm very
excited about, but of course, I need all your help for the group to
become a success. I've long bemoaned the lack of social organization
for poz guys in Utah, as I'm sure others have as well, so I decided
that it was time to 'step up to the plate'.

I'll take the lead in the group for now, as far as being the moderator
for the Yahoo Group, and trying to get out some word of mouth and
advertising. But where I would like YOUR immediate help and input is
in two different areas: First, making our on-line community more
active and welcoming--lets start chatting and start getting to know
each other. Second, I'd like to start planning some casual events,
and would love your input, your suggestions, or your time.

So, let me ask you all to please make a post and tell us a bit about
yourselves--I'll start in my next post. And let me offer a couple of
dates that may work for me if you all wanted to have a pot-luck at my
house in SLC--Tuesday, August 31; Friday, Sept 3 (May be dicey because
of Labor day weekend); or Sunday, Sept 12. Throw some ideas out there
about other things we can do--if someone wants to get coffee or catch
a movie, or whatever.

I'm really looking forward to getting SIN rolling in Salt Lake, and
getting to know you all better!!
