This is a a support group for parents of children who have Autism, PDD, Aspergers or other developmental disabilities in South County Santa Barbara, including Carpinteria, Goleta, and Santa Barbara, and other coastal communities on California's central coast areas to share and learn from one another. We have members of children with other disabilities as well and are all-inclusive. We talk about all different types of therapies and other issues that concern us. This is an independent listserve that has no affiliation with any group. However, the Autism Society of Santa Barbara website is www.asasb.org.
If you would like to be a member please send a personal email to hosseini58@cox.net identifying yourself. We only allow parents and caregivers on this board. Members will treat each other with respect and standard rules of posting etiquette will be adhered to.
1. Erase the message you are responding to so that those receiving a daily digest don't have to read through emails repeatedly. If you want to respond to something specifically in someone's email you can cut and paste that part and put it in your new email.
2. Make sure your Subject relates to the content of your email.
3. If it would be better served to respond to someone offlist, do that instead of responding to the list.
