The San Antonio Vegetarian Society invites you to attend a dinner
with a presentation on "The Dog/Cat Overpopulation Crisis in San
Antonio" by Joel Hailey. The new Indian restaurant is on Summit
Parkway just outside Loop 410, near Chili's and Evers Rd (directions
below). Below is the invitation to you from SAVS:

SAVS to meet at the new Mela Indian Grill on Tuesday, August 26th at
7:00 p.m. The vegan menu is $13 per person for SAVS members and $14
for non members, and goes as follows:

1) Aloo Ghobi - Potatoes and Cauliflower

2) Bhindi Masala - Okra Cooked with Special Indian Spices

3) Baingan Bharta - Eggplant cooked first in Tandoor and then cooked
with Tomatoes and Onions with Indian Spices

4) Tandoori Roti - Bread cooked in the Tandoor Oven

5) Samosas - Potatoes and Peas Filled and Fried Patties with Chutney,
Tamarind and Peppermint

6) Salad

7) Fresh Fruit

8) Jalebi - A special sweet treat for desert
