This group provides information on the Rogue Valley Chapter of the Weston A. Price Foundation (www.westonaprice.org).

THE WESTON A. PRICE FOUNDATION (WAPF) is a non-profit organization that disseminates the research of nutrition pioneer Dr. Weston Price. His studies of isolated nonindustrialized peoples determined the optimum characteristics of human diets. Dr. Price's research demonstrated that humans achieve perfect health only when they consume nutrient-dense whole foods and the vital fat-soluble activators found exclusively in animal fats. The Foundation is dedicated to restoring nutrient-dense foods to the human diet through education, research and activism.

Major areas of interest include local sources of nutrient-dense whole foods, including raw dairy products, meat and eggs from pasture-raised animals, and organic foods. There are monthly meetings on the second Saturday of the month alternating between Medford and Williams.

Sally Fallon Morell, the founder and president of the WAPF, has helped to educate the public about the work of Dr. Price. Her best selling cookbook, "Nourishing Traditions: The Cookbook that Challenges Politically Correct Nutrition and the Diet Dictocrats" is highly recommended and is available for purchase through our local chapter. Buying this information packed book through our chapter helps to increase our resources to fund chapter activities.
