| Notes: | NIA St. Charles Autism Resources Open House Help us recognize Autism Awareness Month! Are you working with children with autism spectrum disorder? Do you have students who learn best visually? Come to the 2nd Annual Autism Open House to see samples of individualized visual supports (such as schedules, turn taking, and wait cards), work systems, social stories, and more. Look at samples of curricular adaptations, sensory processing materials and adapted books, and communication systems. Browse the resource library and check out, books, videos, curriculum, and materials for teachers, related services, parents, siblings, and children with autism spectrum disorder. You will have time to ask questions and increase your knowledge about Autism Spectrum Disorders. Bring a camera to take photos of visual supports you would like to make.
