I am looking for parents with autistic children who would be interested in having their kids produce a painting.

I am involved in an art based therapy course and as part of my certification, I need to fulfill some volunteer practicum hours.  My mentor, Noell Hammer, will be in town for a week to train me, then she will leave for home.  Your child will be with Noell and I for a half hour where they will be engaged in singing, movement, praise, storytelling, and finally they will paint a picture guided my Noell or myself.

The kids get a stimulating half hour of enjoyment, the parents get a beautiful painting created by their kid, and I get certified.

I will not ask for any money, Noell and I will not try to solicite our services in any way.  Everyone is welcome to watch and participate.  I am looking for Wed. and/or Thurs. to work with your kids, depending on how many are interested.
