Just wanted everyone to see the email I got from Ren regarding
changing the name of GEOG 375...

"The geography faculty are grateful for your committee's work on
supporting the field experience course through the Lisa K. fund. We
will start the paperwork for a name change soon. There is a chance
that the dean's office or the undergraduate curriculum committee or
the college senate will not approve this name (LMK Memorial Field
Experience sounds good). If that happens, then we will refer to the
class as LMK... even though it would not appear in the catalog that
way. I hope that it won't come to that, but bureacracy being what it
is, we never know what kind of objections will come along. I just
wanted to let you all cross your fingers on this one."

I offered to present before any committee that is necessary to help
convince them of the name change, if need be. So should that
happen, anyone, local or national, is welcome to present with me.
