I cannot believe how much money has been raised so far! I am so touched
by the outpouring of support. I think it speaks to just how much Lisa
was loved and how many lives she affected.
I think the thank you notes are a great idea to extend our personal
appreciation to those who have so generously contributed. Are we still
planning to divide the list and share the work?
As for the postcards- if we decide to send magnets then obviously the
postcards would not work. I like the magnet idea, but agree that some
people may find it weird if they receive one. But Jason's suggestion
that we include magnets for select people is a good solution.
I appreciate the desire to save some money, and therefore, if it's not
too much trouble to price out the options, we could make a better
informed decision. However, I am a little uncomfortable with writing a
heartfelt thank you note that total strangers will be able to read if we
send postcards. But, if other people are okay with the postcards, then
I'll get over it.
