* * * Anti-aging advice in Fantastic Voyage   Message List

I recently read Fantastic Voyage, a book by Ray Kurzweil and Terry
Grossman, that goes into great detail about the anti-aging program
they have developed.

Ellis, have you had a chance to read this? I'd appreciate any
comments you might have. They seem to agree with most of your
recommendations, although they are hesitant to use HGH because
of concerns about lack of long term research.

Hello Richard...

No, I haven't read Fantastic Voyage by Ray Kurzweil and Terry
Grossman... I didn't even know they had written a book called
Fantastic Voyage... But since it is by Ray Kurzweil and it is
about anti aging, I ordered it now, and I will read it.

Ray Kurzweil is a genius, in my opinion, for the Kurzweil
synthesizer and also for many many of his ideas...

TOO BAD he is scared of trying HGH... there goes one genius who
will grow older...

Einstein grew older, but Einstein could not have avoided it,
in the 1920's, 1930s, 1940s, and 1950's... But Kurzweil would
be able to improve his body a lot, if he dared to be at the
front of the anti aging revolution, rather than in the back
watching out for possible side effects that have not occurred...

But the problem in this world is to decide WHO CAN I BELIEVE?

There is SO MUCH FALSE information, that we don't know WHO TO
BELIEVE. And why should anybody believe ME? I dunno. I am
nobody... I am not even a doctor...

It is up to you to decide. I only tell you what I do, how I do
it, why I do it, and my results. I don't tell you or Kurzweil
or anybody to do what I do.

But I think that INSULIN is extremely important to learn to use,
and I certainly think that growth hormone is fantastic, and easy
to use, and has no side effects... So what is Ray Kurzweil so
scared about ? I dunno.

I received this from somebody who is a mother of a boy who
might use HGH... she is searching to understand the risks of HGH,
and found this on the internet:

=================================================

"Because of this, it is reasonable to suspect that children, too, may
suffer in the long term.

Athletes who buy HGH over the Internet have developed all sorts of
complications—from "misshapen hands and faces to enlarged livers,
kidneys, and hearts."

Though the effects on children are unknown, the Physicians Committee
for Responsible Medicine lists several possible long term-side effects
including metabolic changes, kidney problems and increased risk of
cancer (TIME, 2003).

Thus the unknown effects of HGH make it a poor option for
non-deficient kids."

=================================================

Of course you all know what is MY OPINION of this... This is the
kind of baloney that is written by Jay Olshansky and Thomas
Perls and Shlomo Melamed, and scares the pants off of people
like Ray Kurzweil... what does it do the parents of young
boys and girls who would benefit from using HGH? Think of the
harm it does by SCARING them...

I would like to have comments from doctors who prescribe HGH to
their patients, or persons who have used HGH... Have YOU had or
have YOU KNOWN somebody who has had "misshapen hands and faces"
or "enlarged livers, kidneys, or hearts"???

Do you KNOW of ANYBODY who has gotten CANCER CAUSED by having used
growth hormone? Even ONE person?

Thanks for your feedback.

And if you don't take HGH, you also already know what will happen
to you. It ain't pleasant, and it ain't safe, either.

We already know what happens if we do NOT use growth hormone, and
other hormones... If you are happy with that road, then take that
road.

Ellis
