My first experience taking HGH was pretty easy. I bought Saizen
which came in these self contained vials filled with powder. All
I needed to do was add the bio-water dilutent- then injecting myself
was easy.

My next order was Genotropin. I received several 13.8 mg two chamber
cartridges. I cannot figure out how to use this stuff. I went to the
Genotropin website and apparently there is this specially fitted pen
that is meant to have this two chamber cartridge inserted inside,
which mixes one chamber of dilutent with the hgh powder by pressing
some buttons on the pen.

But I didn't receive the pen with the order.

So my question is....I need someone who has used this Genotropin 13.8
mg two chamber cartridge to tell me how to use it without the pen. If
the only way to use this cartridge is with the pen then if anybody
knows where I can order the pen please let me know because right now I
am at a total loss.

{Hello David. I am not familiar with the Genotropin 13.8 mgs
cartridge... but the principle involved is this: you must put in
an amount of diluyent so that the powder will dissolve... and
then you should try to figure out what is one unit of HGH...

so... first task: get some diluyent into the vial with the HGH
powder. There has to be someplace in the vial that a needle can
go through, so find that place and use a syringe to inject some
diluyent into it. Since this vial contains A LOT of growth
hormone (13.8 x 3 = 41.4 iu) you should use an amount of diluyent
that will give you a figure that is easily divisible by 41.4
for example 414 or 207.. so... mix with 4.10 ml or 2.10 ml of
bacteriostatic water. (exact would be 4.14 or 2.07... but you can't
measure such exact quantities on most syringes, so use 4.10 or
2.10, that is close enough...)

You can buy bacteriostatic water at www.bulknutrition.com or
perhaps you can make it yourself, with sterile isotonic sodium
chloride solution, with 1% benzyl alcohol. If you cannot get
benzyl alcohol, somebody suggested a little VODKA... keep the
little bugs drunk and happy... I have never used vodka or
ethyl alcohol, but I think it would work as an anti bacterial...

I happen to HATE PENS and CARTRIDGES... They are gimmicks...
they do NOTHING for you, except HIDE THE NEEDLE and PUSH IT IN
for you, as if you couldn't do this yourself. And they increase
the cost of growth hormone, per unit. In my opinion, they are
more DIFFICULT AND COMPLICATED TO USE and I simply don't like
them.
