Re: My Groucho Marx Eyebrows... hair transplant... thyroid ???

Hi Ellis...

Because I have thyroid problems and had this experience...
eyebrow hair loss is a classic symptom of a thyroid problem.

Have you had your thyroid checked lately?

Suzanne

[Hello Suzanne... No! As a matter of fact, I haven't...
lately... (last time was 9 years ago...)

But now that you tell me this, I will check it next time I
take a blood test, which will be soon. I'll ask for T3, T4,
and TSH... anything else I should ask for, to check my thyroid?

Thanks for the suggestion. I DON'T THINK I HAVE A THYROID
PROBLEM, because I don't think I have any other symptom of
having a thyroid problem... but I'll check it.

And what shows a thyroid problem? I suppose, high TSH...
What about T3 and T4? I know they should be within the
"normal range" but what is OPTIMAL for T3 and T4?

I have two books about thyroid.... "Living Well with
Hypothyroidism" by Mary J. Shomon and another one which I
can't find right now, but I'll find it... so maybe I'll answer
my own question...

Thanks!

Ellis]
