I have been taking HGH for about 2 weeks now and have used 2 vials of
18 iu serostim. I split each vial into seven doses, so each vial last
me a week, so I am taking between 2-3 IUs a day.
I did not realize until now that the sterile water that comes with
the Serostim only lets it last a day and I should have been using the
bac. water to reconstitute.
So after the first injection of each fresh vial, does that mean the
rest of the week supply mainly went to waste??
[No... it means that the instruction that says that it only lasts
24 hours is mostly baloney... there is some truth to it, but there
is mostly baloney to it... I have mixed HGH with sterile water
for many years and not had any trouble with it, in spite of the
written instructions that says something that is stretching the
truth... It might spoil in 1 month, or 2 months... but it surely
does not spoil in the 1 week you are taking to use it, especially
not if you take ordinary precautions to keep it clean, and if you
keep it in a refrigerator... - Ellis]
I am glad I caught on to this early on and only did 2 vials with the
water it came with, but since it is so expensive it would be a shame
if I wasted most of those two vials. I ordered the bac. water and I
guess I will have to wait now until I get it in the mail to continue
my HGH treatment.
What do you guys think - is it really true it only lasts 24 hours
with the sterile water even when refrigerated after reconstitution?
[No. It is not true. This is something that I get asked a lot
so I have it ready to paste... I paste what Dr. Cranton (who is an
authority I believe knows what he says) says about HGH and
temperature, and what I wrote once upon a time, also about HGH and
temperature... This is what it boils down to: will bacteria EAT
IT UP?
Dr. Cranton RE: storage temperature of HGH
"Undiluted, freeze-dried HGH powder in sterile vials may be safely kept at room
temperature, not to exceed 86 degrees Fahrenheit, for up to 18 months (as dated
on each vial). Up to 110 degrees for a day or two before mixing may be tolerated
without a problem. Once diluent is added, however, the resulting liquid HGH must
be kept refrigerated and used within 4 weeks or potency will slowly decline." -
Dr. Elmer Cranton
http://www.drcranton.com/hghart2.htm Dr. Cranton Re: Storage Temperature of HGH
"Any brand of growth hormone is stable at normal room temperature for up to two
years without refrigeration. It should be kept cool as a precaution, for the
same reason you like being in an air-conditioned room, or you keep an apple in
the refrigerator.
AFTER it is reconstituted, however, it is important to keep it in a
refrigerator... but even then, the reason is not that the growth hormone is
unstable. The reason is that when you stick in the needle of the syringe, you
might be sticking in some bacteria, and you want to keep THEM cold so they don't
multiply as much. Even though most bacteria are harmless, they can break down
the growth hormone because they EAT the growth hormone because it is protein, so
it loses potency... So you want to keep them cold and sleepy." - Ellis Toussier,
