I have attended several lectures from Dr Thierry Hertoghe in Europe.
If you can pay the $795 it is worthwile to do it. But if you cannot
afford it, there is an easy alternative, buy the books of Dr.
Thierry Hertoghe.

There is a clear message in Dr. Thierry Hertoghe´s lectures "you
don´t produce less hormones because you age, you age because you
produce less hormones"; therefore you have to start hormone
replacement therapy early, perhaps at your 28th birthday.

And you will have to replace "all the lost hormones", not only
one.

Dr. Thierry Hertoghe uses more than FIVE hormones, Pregnenolone
is one of them. If you need to recover your lost intelectual
capacity, Pregnenolone is the answer.

Cortisone, Adrenaline , etc.etc.

Long time, no hear... I'm glad to hear from you. I went three
times to Spain, but I was far away from where you live... but
maybe someday soon I will go near Sevilla and Granada, so maybe
I can zip by and meet you. Please write to me and I'll try to
make space to visit you.

(Did I ever tell you about my Phantom of the Opera who likes to
take care of me and he likes for me to visit Spain, but he is
not there when I arrive?)

Cortisone? Adrenaline? Wow! I never heard of using these
hormones for anti-aging. Adrenaline! Unbelievable...
What does Dr. Hertoghe use adrenaline for?

Of course I have used pregnenolone and I still use DHEA... but
I'm not very sure what these hormones do, or what benefits we
get from using them. There is no doubt in my mind about HGH,
testosterone, EPO, and insulin, which is why I call them "the
Major League Hormones"...

I wish I could be in Los Angeles, I would perhaps pay $795
to go to the seminar if I lived there... but it costs me at
least another $1000 to get to Los Angeles and stay there a
few days, and the Phantom of the Opera does not pay for my
trips to Los Angeles so I think I will have to pass.

As you wrote, if you cannot go you can buy Dr. Hertoghe's
books... he has written "The Hormone Solution" which I have,
and he has also written "DHEA, The Hormone for Better Living"
(DHEA, l'hormone du mieux vivre) which shows he is a big DHEA
fan also. But I am curious to know what he has to say about
adrenaline and cortisone because I didn't know anybody is
using these hormones for anti-aging.

Unfortunately, the cost of the seminar is an unbelievable $795... but
I suppose that is not expensive if you want to learn from two top
notch anti-aging doctors... A SMART ENDOCRINOLOGIST (a very rare
species...)

Please notice under "Longevity Endocrinology" that there is NO MENTION
of using INSULIN or of using EPO (erithropoyetin)...

Except for me and a few of the people here on Rejuvenation who have
learned this idea, we are apparently the ONLY PERSONS ON PLANET EARTH
who are using Growth Hormone, Testosterone (and estrogen and
progesterone), DHEA, melatonin, thyroid, and also INSULIN and also
EPO.

That is SEVEN (grouping sex hormones as one group) HORMONES, vs. FIVE
for Dr. Hertoghe, who is perhaps the most famous anti-aging
endocrinologist in the world.... In fact, I am sure I would be at this
seminar if it would not cost me more than $1000 to go to Los Angeles
for three days... plus the cost of the seminar... because I have Dr.
Hertoghe's book "The Hormone Solution" and Dr. Jonathan Wright's
"Natural Hormone Replacement for Women over 45"

I don't know if it makes me happy or if it makes me sad that they
don't use insulin and EPO... it makes me sad... but I am happy to
think that I am light years ahead of most doctors (excepting the ones
here on Rejuvenation, who I hope know this...) and I learned it all
right here on Rejuvenation. Thank you, especially to Randy Ice, and
Gordon Swobe, and Dr. Ward Dean and Dr. James Hughes and Dr. Allyn
Brizell, and Dr. Julio Garcia, and Dr. Karlis and Dr. Rothenberg,
etc... and of course, thanks to Dr. Bernstein, who I learned from
by reading his book and listening to two conferences...

There is now somebody else in Mexico and two other persons in the
U.S. who have learned to use Lantus + Humalog, which is a SUPERB
anti-aging therapy... And it is EXTREMELY CHEAP (that is, it is
extremely cheap compared to growth hormone or testosterone, or
EPO...)

I am now using 15 units of Lantus in the morning and 5 units of Lantus
at night with EXCELLENT results... "Twice a day" for 24 hour insulin
is in the style of Dr. Bernstein... I learned it from Dr. Bernstein...
but I am using a much greater dose of Lantus than Dr. Bernstein uses...

(Dr. Bernstein weighs 120 pounds... Dr. Bernstein is a diabetic Type 1
and controls his food much more strictly than I do... Dr. Bernstein's
pancreas is probably not regulating glucose with glucagon either, so
he can get hypoglycemia much more easily than I ever (never) do...)

Plus, I use Humalog whenever necessary, as necessary... that is, I
might take a dose of 1, 2, or 3 units of Humalog before or after a
meal, to prevent my glucose levels from going up when I know they will
go up, or to bring them down fast when I notice that it is about 100
mg/dl or higher.

Whenever I use Humalog, I have lessened my dose of by one or two units
from what it used to be, ie, now I calculate that Lantus is
contributing about 1 or 2 iu.
