You must PREVENT the loss of muscle mass, and you
can only do it with a program such as mine... - Ellis]
Again Ellis and I disagree. look at his muscle mass at 60
and look at mine at 73 and tell me which program you would
rather follow. e-mail me for a picture comparison.
[Tom, I am not a "body builder..." I know you and many
others have bigger muscles than I do, but I'm quite happy
with my body, I don't want another body... But that is not
even what my anti-sarcopenia program is attempting to
prevent... I am trying to prevent the LOSS OF MY BRAIN
AND NERVOUS SYSTEM... Whatever muscle I have, that is
fine with me... I don't want to LOSE IT because I lost the
UNDERLYING NERVOUS SYSTEM.
Send me your pictures, I will put them up on my website...
- Ellis]
And, Ellis, I propose that the 70's are when the rubber meets
the road. [and I've started HGH in my 70s.]
[Well, I can't tell you about that because my birth certificate
is still only 61 years old, and I am about 50... But I'll let
you know how I'm doing, when I am in my 70's...
In any case, it is not when you are in your 70's that should
worry you... it is when you are in your 90's, and your brain is
gone, unless you have struggled to keep your glucose levels low,
and your circulatory system clean so that blood can flow through
it, and your red blood cells high so that you keep oxygen flowing
to keep the neurons in your brain and all of your body from
being destroyed... THAT is what my anti-sarcopenia program
will do, that no other program that I have yet seen has focused
on.
By the way... LANTUS is great for keeping my blood glucose
levels MUCH BETTER controlled (ie, between 70 and 100 mg/dl
all day) than I used to be able to do with Humalog, or
Humalog and Humulin N ("long lasting" insulin)...
NOW... I am using LANTUS AND HUMALOG...
I take 12 units of LANTUS in the morning, and 1 or 2 or 3 iu
of Humalog before eating, or if my blood glucose is ever about
100 or more... - Ellis]
