As opposed to "experts" who think the Atkins diet isn't
unhealthy?
- Sami
[Hello Sami... well... yes, I suppose so, as opposed to
the "experts" who think the Atkins diet isn't unhealthy...
I am not an "expert" but I think that the Atkins diet is
better than the high carb low fat diet... That is because
I see that my blood glucose doesn't rise if I eat meat and
fish and chicken and cheese and vegetables... and I see that
it does rise tremendously if I eat cereals and fruits and
honey.
I never copied the Atkins diet and I never say I follow the
Atkins diet, because I don't... my personal anti aging diet
more extreme than Atkins, because I also try to avoid excess
fat, he doesn't mind fat at all... and I say, if excess fat
doesn't help me, what the heck do I want it for?
There really is only ONE impartial Judge, in my opinion,
and that is the glucose meter... of course, that is, IF
UOU BELIEVE THAT high glucose levels are BAD for you and
"low" glucose levels (between 70 and 90 mg/dl) are optimal...
and also that you think that any rise in glucose, even if it is
"normal" or temporary, is theoretically bad for you in the
long run, too.
IF YOU DON'T AGREE with this, then the glucose meter is not
the impartial Judge for you that I let it to be, for me.
What do you think, Sami? Is the Atkins diet healthy or
unhealthy? Is the high carb diet healthy, or unhealthy?
Do you think, as I do, that the previous message
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Rejuvenation/message/9084
is really a press release written by somebody of the bread
and spaghetti industry, to tell us that the Atkins diet is
not good, not healthy, and tastes bad, and besides, Atkins
himself was unhealthy? - Ellis]
