>Ellis what exactly is Jose's diagnosis? Dear Ellis...
I can answer this question as I have been told or it has been explained to
me thus far...
Jose was born full term IUGR... this means he had inter uterus growth
retardation....he has several knots in his cord which was also around
his neck twice... they discovered this around the 21st of gestation....
he was about half the size he should be....they were not concerned at the
time...
Also, it must be explained I am in a remote rural part of New Mexico...
We have little by way of medical care... The day before his birth in my
39th week they discovered he had no amniotic fluid... When he was born
he had staining... he was not breathing and had no heart rate... it was
by the grace of God and the nick of time he was saved... they resuscitated
him and intubated him... He was 4 pounds 6 ounces...
Upon arrival in the NICU in Amarillo Texas they discovered many things wrong
with JOSE... He had no platelets... literally so low he was at high risk of
bleeding and got nothing to eat by way of mouth for almost 7 days... There was
fear he could rupture his stomach... He had a fontanel open over the entire top
of his head and extending to between his eyes... It has since closed, but at 18
months is still much larger than it should be....
Jose could not maintain his blood sugar for 2 weeks....he showed rigidity which
they feel has now developed into mild CP....on growth hormone he does
beautifully... Ellis would have been so proud... he was fattening up... walking
running.... and starting to talk....now, off of it over a month his hands are
more palsy... he is temperamental... He stops eating well... and his growth
diminishes to nothing...
I know the HGH is saving his life..... If Ellis had not given me the strength
to pursue HGH as a treatment for him I truly believe Jose would not be with me
today... For 3 months of life he showed no growth... At 12 weeks he was 5
pounds... he should have been at least 8... He had only 1/4 inch growth in
length...
He is now being treated for growth and cp... He has a mild difference in the
shape of his eyes... On the same side his cp seems to be affecting him... he
has therapists provided by the state and a very good friends help who come
massage him, work with him and provide him Physical Therapy... he has come far,
but this month is yet another set back as he ran out of HGH... I was giving him
1.5 IU per day 5-6 days a week....
Because I was hit by a car when I was 4 I have a plastic surgeon who has become
a good friend... He has guided me off the record in how to administer HGH, but
he cannot provide a prescription for Jose...
I need help, friends, for my son... each day that goes by he is not getting HGH
I fear for his development and life... This nutrient is essential to Jose's
life... I know it is, despite what others may say... I have held and loved him
now 18 months and I have seen and documented the difference it has made...
And once again I must say Ellis Toussier YOU ARE the angel who has blessed our
life and YOUR guidance has directed me in saving his life... YOU are as
precious to me as my own children... through your knowledge I have held my son
in my arms for 18 months now... Although I must make clear Ellis has told me to
do nothing has not ever given me medical directives, but has guided me as a
friend who has much more knowledge than I do... Ellis makes clear to me he is
not a medical doctor and is only helping me save Jose until I find someone who
will listen and help us...
Jose is in desperate need of HGH if anyone has any they can spare....I will
enclose a picture of Jose with this note Ellis can make available if you would
like to see him....I must also add ironically Jose's first word was TAN
TA....thank you... And he has said thank you like this for month every time he
is handed anything... I wish I could let you all see a video clip of him... We
just returned from a stay with my mother who had a stroke November 12th... My
father is also batteling prostate problems and as a professor is the sole
source for my mother... While in Missouri I underwent minor surgery to remove
infection from my corneas which would not respond to treatment...
Friends it has been a very long year!!!! But, I believe and know God is with us
and guiding us on this long path we are journeying.....
Thank you for your prayers and support... thank you to everyone...
