Re: syringes for use with HGH

>>> Try the 30 gauge short needle syringe.. I PROMISE you that you
will lose your fear of syringes and needles VERY SOON, and you will
benefit from growth hormone. - Ellis] <<<

Having just started taking HGH, thanks to my savvy connection in
Mexico (*grin*), I can recommend with painless delight the 31-gauge,
8mm needles, which I found on Hocks.com, code #4724266. $23.50 for
100 syringes.

In my short time using HGH, I've tried the 28 gauge, 30 gauge, and
the 31 gauge. Unquestionably, the more slim 31 gauge provokes the
least amount of sting -- it's practically unnoticeable, in fact.

Boy, I have to admit it took me a while to use that syringe the
first time. I can see this being a difficult obstacle for many
people to overcome. It can take a lot of courage to stick yourself
the first few times. But once you get used to the idea that there's
practically no pain, it drops away completely as a concern.

[I'm glad that you got over it... I also was "scared" that "I
don't know how to inject myself" when I began... but it is
scarier to grow old... and it hurts more, too, so that was a
good incentive to "learn"! There is very little to "learn"...
just stick it in, quickly... I inject into my stomach about
2 or 3 inches around the belly button, and it is truly, really,
almost completely painless... you can't even call it pain.. I
barely feel it.

SOMETIMES maybe once in 100 times I can feel it, but USUALLY
I don't feel any pain, and very little if at all. Today, I
inject myself all day long with growth hormone or insulin...
I know it seems crazy, but I have decided to try to keep my
glucose levels under control with insulin, so that is three
or four shots, sometimes even five shots per day... and I take
my daily growth hormone, and that is one shot... and it doesn't
bother me the least bit... on the contrary, if I forget to
take my insulin with me when I eat out, I am upset.

By the way... I began to experiment with Humalog, which is the
fast acting insulin of shorter duration... I like it better
than "R" (regular) type insulin on certain occasions, because it
brings glucose down faster if it is "high"... but now I am
comfortable with both of them. ("high" for me is anything higher
than 105 mg/dl, which I get sometimes, but I don't like it.).

I also began to experiment with "3 iu before eating and 2 iu
after eating, if 100 mg/dl or more" and I like that, too...

I simply have lost my fear of insulin, or the perception that
I had before: that insulin is a BAD hormone. It is a very
good hormone, but like a gun, you have to know how to use it
correctly, or else it can be dangerous. The only way to use it
correctly is to test your blood glucose before, and to know
exactly what you can expect from the dose you are about to
inject, and never overdose.

For those of you who are new to Rejuvenation: I am not a
diabetic. I take insulin to avoid becoming a diabetic. I
added a list of more than 30 reasons why I take insulin to my
page, Non Diabetic Use of Insulin, and I will add more reasons
soon...
