Re: [Rejuvenation] Traveling with rHGH

Hi Beth & Ellis

I travel a bit with my GH... I do as Ellis suggested... wrap the package
in a ziploc bag with ice pac... and then wrap in aluminum foil. As
soon as I get to the hotel I use the ice bucket provided, fill it with
ice... and submerge the GH. The ice has to be replaced about every 8-12
hours, and submerging the GH in ice does not cause it to freeze.

Thanks

Pat (RN)

[I remind you that all this trouble is really only necessary AFTER
GH has been reconstituted... BEFORE you have mixed it, it isn't
really that critical, EVEN IF THE BOX SAYS to keep it in a
refrigerator... Nothing will happen to the growth hormone, it will
not melt or fall apart due to fairly high room temperature,

Here is this written by Dr. Cranton, and also my answer to somebody on
Rejuvenation asking the same thing, a few years ago:

"Undiluted, freeze-dried HGH powder in sterile vials may be
safely kept at room temperature, not to exceed 86 degrees
Fahrenheit, for up to 18 months (as dated on each vial). Up
to 110 degrees for a day or two before mixing may be tolerated
without a problem. Once diluent is added, however, the
resulting liquid HGH must be kept refrigerated and used
within 4 weeks or potency will slowly decline."
- Dr. Elmer Cranton (http://drcranton.com/hghart2.htm )

"Any brand of growth hormone is stable in the vial at normal
room temperature for up to two years without refrigeration.
It should be kept cool as a precaution, for the same reason
you like being in an air-conditioned room, or you keep an
apple in the refrigerator. AFTER it is reconstituted, however,
it is important to keep it in a refrigerator... but even then,
the reason is not that the growth hormone is unstable.

The reason is that when you stick in the needle of the syringe,
you might be sticking in some bacteria, and you want to keep
THEM cold so they don't multiply as much. Even though most
bacteria are harmless, they can break down the growth hormone
because they EAT it because it is protein, and so this causes
the growth hormone to lose potency... so you want to keep them
cold and sleepy. That is why you use bac water to mix if you
want to take small doses from a large dose vial. It is
unlikely, however, that bacteria will get into the vial if you
take normal sanitary precautions, in which case it will not
lose potency even if it has been reconstituted and is out of
the refrigerator.

In your body growth hormone is at 37 degrees C. or 98 degrees F.,
which is much warmer than normal room temperature, and there is
no problem with GH in your body... so don’t worry too much about
temperature, except DO NOT FREEZE..." - Ellis Toussier]

If you travel often, you may want to get a prescription for Genotropin Mini-Quick. The product does not need refrigeration, though I would keep it in the...
