Hi group....

Jose has made some small strides in the past couple of months.
He has grown in height by approximately 3/8 inch. He is very
thin and malnurioushed looking despite the dietary focus we
place on him... Since he has been back on his HGH he has not
gotten sick again and has maintain his activity level... I
hesitate to say he is all boy, but when he is feeling good...
there is no doubt in my mind he is ALL boy....just a tiny boy.

My husband who is 60 and Mexican was not rehired this fall...
He was 3 months from retirement....we know this was a purposeful
move of prejudice on the part of the school district as he has
never had a negative mark of any kind... He is a tremendous
teacher... Setbacks galore seem to be following me in the walk
I have to follow myself....

I am asking if anyone has any extra hgh they can spare for Jose....I
have writen to Ellis who has been the guardian angel who I have no
doubt has kept my son alive and thriving...

[No, I am only one who gathers the help from everybody else...
I also contribute but there are other persons from England,
Mexico, and the United States who know who they are, and they
are the true "guardian angels" and I am sure there are others
who would also like to help Jose, but don't or can't for whatever
reason, and they are "guardian angels" too. - Ellis]

He will be 17 months old the 30th and is about the size now of
a skinny 9 month old baby...

He walks and is starting to say words again... His speech diminished
for a while... He has mild CP which affects his balance and his
left hand movement... His blood work is a bit unstable when
he is not on HGH... his platelets fall... Right now he is doing
very well....

[Which platelets fall? Red blood cells? What is his red blood
cell count (hematocrit)? Do you see that it rises when he is on
growth hormone and falls when he is not on growth hormone? This
could be extremely important. - Ellis]

Friends, you have kept my son in prayers now over a year and from my
heart I can only say Thank you so much... Through prayer my son has
healed and thrived and continued to make strides to permamnet good
health... I cannot ever tell you what the prayers and emails have
meant to me... There are times I get discouraged and doubtful...

Many of you have lifted me up through stories you have shared and
words of kindness... When you love a child you will stop at nothing
to help him... Blessings to each and everyone of you... I know one
day I will see the light at the end of this long dark tunnel that
began the day Jose was born...

Through Jose, God's light is shining and leading me forward...

[Keep the chin up, Diane. Your husband cannot be justly fired
three months before retirement, but in any case he will probably
be better off working on his own if he can learn to do it on the
internet. Jose is tiny but he is progressing, and he will be well.

There really can be no better cause, although I am sure there are
many other good causes, but here we are directly affected because
we know Jose. Giving health is such a good thing to do, in this
world that is falling apart with bad news it is always so good to
feel that we can help make a baby's health to be a little bit
better.
