I am a 20 year old male. I started hgh therapy (genotropin) at
about 14 or so and kept a pretty regular use for about 2 years.

I began smoking pot socially a few years back, practically when I
started injecting. Then a few years later I smoked on an increasing
basis.

I am trying to figure out if my daily use of pot and sometimes
infrequent stops of genetropin have caused any imbalances in my growth
patterns and hormones.

[I can't tell, since I do not have a blood test or other measures
with which to answer you. I doubt that smoking "pot" would have
had any effect on your growth, or on your testosterone deficiency,
if you are deficient. But I am not a doctor, you would have to
ask a doctor this question. - Ellis]

I feel like maybe in general I might have low testosterone. I haven't
seen the endocrinologist for at least 5 years. I am concerned that my
current thin slimness is somehow from not having as much Testosterone
when I was injecting.

Also I always wished my testes had kept growing, but they kind of
just stopped. A planned parenthood nurse told me they were considerably
small.

Damn! That was hard to have a lady that has seen so many say that.

On the other hand, my penis is on the average to large size and in no
way do I think the HGH affected its growth negatively... maybe more
growth, actually.

I have had a deep voice since before the injections so the nurse at
PP's comment to my asking if I had low T was possible, was "Your voice
is so deep you must have enough T."

I am only now taking care of this and it is scary for me. I am still
growing now, and I want to know if I get hormone therapy if it could
help me bulk up before I stop growing?

[Since you are still only 20, it might actually help you to grow taller,
too. I know a case of a boy age 19 who grew about two inches in three
months... so maybe at 20 it is still possible too. Whatever you do,
don't believe anybody that says he knows for sure that you can't grow
taller anymore. - Ellis]

Could the therapy possibly make my body produce enough Testosterone on
its own ?

[I don't know. But growth hormone probably would have a positive
effect, if any, on the sexual system, including the circulatory
system and the sex hormones, in both men and women. - Ellis]

Or would I have to keep taking the therapy forever and never
independently be able to make the right levels ?

[Growth hormone is like FOOD for my body. After I started to
use growth hormone, nearly six years ago, I decided that I would
take it for as long as I could, just the same as I have breakfast
every day, or just the same as I water the plants every day...
It doesn't make sense to me that I should stop, unless I purposely
am wishing to die... it is doing good for my body, and it does it
every single day, so I have no intention to stop until I must. I
am not worried about the consequences of the "long run" since I know
that the experience is good for persons such as J. Donelson Jones,
who has been taking growth hormone for about 14 years, and Lazarus
Long, and Dr. Cranton... so, until they tell me they had a problem,
I don't think I will have a problem "in the long run"... yet...

But I can't answer your question about whether you will or not be
producing your own right levels of Testosterone... probably not,
since testosterone is a hormone that goes DOWN with age...

On the other hand, it isn't difficult to take testosterone, too,
but unlike growth hormone that has no really bad side effects if
you take it in a physiological dose, testosterone does have side
effects.

But, like everything else, there is a right way and a wrong way to
take testosterone, and if you take it the right way I think the
benefits outweigh the negatives, ESPECIALLY in the LONG RUN...

Remember, in the long run we should be dead... and I think that the
benefit of being alive with stronger muscles and a functioning
brain is more important than the possible side effect of your body
not producing too much testosterone at a certain age... but...

Everything at its moment. I think RIGHT NOW you should not be
taking testosterone, especially since you might still be growing
taller, and testosterone might put the brakes on that. - Ellis]

In general I am a strong, slim guy, on the smaller side at 5'10,
130 lbs. Anyhow, I am having bloodwork done this week. I would
like any and all info you would like to offer. I haven't found
anything like this on the net and I'd like this information to be
for those out there who may have grown up like me and don't know
what the heck happened to our bodies.

I would have been 4 inches smaller, or so they said.

Who knows, I wanted this more than anything when I was a little
runt, but in a lot of ways I feel like I will always be on the small
side. In retrospect its hard to lay down all the facts, and weigh
out the pros and cons of HGH injection therapy for pituitary
dwarfism.

[Why is that? Which were the "pros" and which were the "cons"?

Now I have some questions...

How did you realize you had pituitary dwarfism?

What tests did you have done, and what was your age then?

If it was in your teens... Why hadn't you started before?

What dose of growth hormone did you take, for how long did you
take it, and with what frequency?

Did the doctors tell you to modify your diet in any way, ie,
"don't eat this or that" or "do eat this or that"?

How much of your present growth do you attribute to growth
hormone? (you said "4 inches"... how did they decide that?)

What was the cost of your treatment over the years that you
took growth hormone?

- Ellis]

Peace

[Peace, brother. Ellis]
