I am 55 years old and weigh 180 at 5' 11''. I run 25 miles in
a typical week and eat a reasonable diet. My sugar lipids and
anti inflamatory markers are ok.
My serum T was 540ng/ml (saliva 78 pg/ml) and my IGF-1254 ng/ml.
What HGH and testosterone dosage would you suggest to optimize
my chance of playing soccer with my kindergartener a dozen years
from now?
Thanks, Donald
Ellis: Hello Donald. Hey, 540 ng/ml for Testosterone and
IGF-1 of 1254 at age 55 is very good. Fantastic, in fact.
Are you already taking testosterone and HGH? If so... what is
your goal, and why are you raising your IGF-1 to 1254?
Since you run 25 miles in a typical week, you are not like
most of us, so I will suppose that you are an athlete and you
have probably been an athlete all your life.
As for me: I wish I would be an athlete, but I am just an admirer
of athletes. I do a bit of exercise sometimes, and I walk a lot
from here to there, but I am not an athlete. I am not trying to
beat anybody walking or running and I am not trying to win a body
building contest of any kind.
My goal is to be the oldest man who has fathered a child, someday.
I don't think I will ever do it in fact, but I hope I would be
capable of being that man. I want to be an Alfa Male all my life.
Not THE alfa male. AN alfa male. I want and I hope YOU will be
an alfa male also.
If you have not gotten any side effect from your dose of HGH, I
suppose it is o.k., but I would like to know what is your dose.
Please tell us your dose, because your IGF-1 is the highest that
has ever been reported on Rejuvenation.
And if you have gotten side effects... pains in your joints or
pain anywhere, please let us know that too...
I guess that you are probably taking HGH, and you are probably
taking more than 2 iu HGH per day. If so, let us know your dose,
I am curious.
And if you are not taking HGH, then you are Wonderman. Tell us
your secret. What do you do to stay so well?
I think the most HGH that you should take is 3 iu per day... but
nobody really knows... and if you are taking 4 iu or more and you
are not having side effects and you are getting good results,
then that might be a good dose too.
But Please tell us what is your dose!
Which side effect might you get? Carpal tunnel syndrome, which
is a prelude to acromegalia ("giantism")...
I THINK that you will NOT get diabetes or cancer, and your
internal organs will NOT grow bigger and burst out of your body,
and your feet will NOT grow bigger.
Acromegalia... maybe... If you have gotten carpal tunnel
syndrome, and you don't want to get acromegalia then lower your
dose by 50% immediately.
I don't know if you particularly want to look like Andre the
Giant, or Arnold Schwartzenegger, or Toy Soldiers... square jaw,
etc.... But if you do, then not even acromegalia is a side
effect for you.
(Just because you want to look huge and some doctors call it a
side effect doesn't mean that being huge is a side effect... it
is a result of too much growth hormone, but it is not a side
effect if that is what you wanted...)
Testosterone is not easy to measure, because you don't inject it
every day... so one single blood test result is not enough, it
will vary according to when you last injected and when you took
the test... at the top of the bell curve, or going up, or going
down?
A recommended dose of testosterone is about 200 mgs or 250 mgs
of active ingredient per week.
And if you are taking testosterone, you should also be taking
Arimidex. I don't recommend any other anti estrogen because they
all have bad side effects for males, namely they take away your
LIBIDO.
Arimidex is not actually an anti-estrogen... it is an anti-
aromatase. Aromatase is an enzyme that is necessary so that
testosterone can convert to estrogen, so Arimidex blocks
aromatase, and the lack of aromatase prevents testosterone from
converting to estrogen. The nice thing about Arimidex is that
it has no side effect of its own.
Good Libido, for me, is Numero Uno.
Loss of libido is the single worst sign of aging that I can
imagine, and I DO NOT want to have it. And it is a side effect
of bad drugs which DOCTORS PRESCRIBE often.
So... beware especially of "finisteride..." What do you want
to grow a lot of hair for, and have a great looking body, and
be very attractive to women, if you can't do anything about it?
If you want to play soccer with your kindergarten son 12 years
from now... that will be when you are 67 years old... I am sure
you can do it if you take 2 iu of HGH and testosterone sometimes,
and HCG when you need it, and keep your blood glucose levels
between 70 and 100 all day, every day... Also, check your red
blood cells to make sure HCT does not fall below 45% and
hemoglobin at least 15%... and I am pretty sure you will play
with your son if you are still alive.
Invite me, I would like to play soccer with you and your son
12 years from now, too. I will be 64 years old in August, and
I am pretty sure I could play soccer for a short while, today...
Anyways, most soccer players don't play the entire game. I could
sit on the bench most of the time and play on the field 10 or
15 minutes at the end of the game, with no problem at all, today.
(I wouldn't kick any goals, and I probably would not be a great
blocker either... but I could run around on the field and scare
them a little bit, and make them have to run around me... )
(It reminds me of: "Damn Yankees"... what if I did kick in a
winning goal?)
And if I age in the next 12 years as much (nothing) as I have
aged in the last 11 years, I'll be as good as new 12 years from
now.
