Hello,
I am not a diabetic and I am currently using Insulin to gain
weight while going to the gym.
My question is regarding my eye sight. After I take insulin I feel
my eye sight get a bit fuzzy... objects in small print seem a lot
harder to see while I am loading with insulin.
Can anyone give me an idea what relationship may exist between
insulin and eyesight?
Regards,
Giovanni
Hello Gio!
Gio was probably THE FIRST person to subscribe to Rejuvenation,
nearly 10 years ago. In fact, he was in touch with me by e-mail
before I set it up, and he suggested that I should start a forum
to discuss growth hormone. We almost started it together.
VERY STRANGE, Gio. I have never heard of anybody getting
fuzzy eyesight when using insulin. Which insulin are you using,
and what dose are you using? Are you checking your blood glucose
levels before and after you use insulin? It might be hypoglycemia.
Are you eating something at the same time that you inject insulin?
I suggest that the NEXT TIME that you take insulin and you
feel your eyesight is getting a bit fuzzy, immediately check
your blood glucose. It should not be less than 70... 65 is
passable, but it shouldn't be less than 70 (on the Accucheck
Sensor glucose meter... it might vary on other meters...)
Also... it is unusual that somebody uses insulin to gain
weight at the gym... Can you please tell us more about that...
what dose of insulin, what are you eating, how are you
exercising, and what has been your result? Thanks, and
thanks for writing. - Ellis
