Thank you so much for your replying to my last email to you.
I asked your daily dose of HGH and your reply was 2 IU per
day 7 days per week.

I started HGH 3-7-08 at 1 IU M-F with my IGF-1 being 83.

On 5-8-08 I upped my HGH to 1.5 IU M-F as my IGF-1 was at 243.
I too am going to try to level off at around 500.

On 6-18-08 my IGF-1 was 212. It went down from 243 even though
I upped my dose from 1 iu to 1.5 IU on 5-8-08. Do you have any
idea why it went down?? Also, what do you keep your IGF-1 level
at??


Ellis: [Don't pay too much attention to IGF-1... It could be
that in the first test you tested 2 hours after you injected HGH,
and in the second test you tested 8 hours or 14 hours after
you injected HGH... IGF-1 is a very unreliable test, and I
don't like to take it as an absolute. - Ellis]


I am going back to my doctor SOON. I am not sure if I should ask
him for 2 IU OR 2.5 IU for my next script. Any suggestions??

Ellis: [Sure, why not? I have taken 2 iu almost every day since
10 years ago... (at first I took 1.0, then 1.5, then 2.0 then
3.0 and then back to 2.0 (because that's what I can afford...))

NOBODY knows which is the OPTIMUM dose, because we have only been
taking growth hormone since 1991, and not many persons were taking
it then... even today, not many persons are taking 2 iu every
day, or 3 iu every day... and nobody has taken 2 iu for 50
years, and when someday that person will be me, then I didn't
take 3 iu for 50 years, so I won't know if 3 iu would have been
the same or if it would have been better than 2 iu.

What I can tell you is that I am very well, and very happy that
I have taken 2.0 iu per day, for nearly 10 years, because I think
it has been central to keeping me in as good shape as I am in...

Some people still tell me "but we don't know what will happen in
the LONG RUN..." It doesn't matter that I pity their blindness...
they are telling me that someday I might be sorry that I took HGH...
(and, maybe THEY will be sorry that they DIDN'T take HGH...)

But... I not only take HGH. I also eat to keep my glucose levels
under control... I also take testosterone, and insulin (and I am
not a diabetic) and EPO (and I am not anemic, and I don't have any
kidney disease...) so I am very well for more than just 2 iu
of HGH per day for 10 years. But growth hormone is central to my
good health.

Hey, Jay Olshansky, leave me alone, let me stay well! Stop
pushing to outlaw the medicines that make it possible for me
to stay well!
