A Creative Exploration of Energy

Reiki Kids for children ages 5 to 12

Bringing together Reiki and the Young is a sure recipe for magic on Earth. This
program is designed for children that march to their own beat. These young ones
are manifest on this planet as teachers, guides and leaders and bringing Reiki
to them enables clarity and validation of their inherent abilities. An
attunement is offered during this workshop, the acceptance of which is entirely
up to the child. The emphasis is placed on experiencing Reiki and putting words

Reiki Kids class materials for Reiki Masters

"Reiki Kids" Manual - Barbara has created a book called "Reiki Kids" which is
given to each child in the class. It is a simple 20 page, colouring book style

Intuitive Healer". This course is for the professional healer, caregivers and

Intuition plays a major role in how we act and react to the people and events in
our lives. It is not as mysterious as many of us think. When we learn to use it
consciously it begins to make more sense than a fax machine, satellite dish or
any other of the technological advances of the modern age. We are moving from an
age of technology to an age of consciousness. Intuitive Healer, Barbara McKell
will teach you how to use your intuition consciously, as a tool to navigate in
this changing world.

The course will be experiential in nature and encompass an overview of the
subtle energy system and how to use this information for healing. How to hand
sense/see the energy field. You will have the opportunity to tune into the
vibration and frequency of the subtle bodies and determine the appropriate

"Flaming" -- personal attacks, abusive, vulgar or inappropriate language,

your posts -- **as long as your post talks about ENERGY WORK courses that you
offer or clearly says why your non-energy work classes or events would be of
direct interest to Reiki and other energy workers.  Please remember that folks
are here primarily for energy work events and make certain that you are not

related to our subject matter.

There are many, many groups at yahoogroups and elsewhere that focus on distant
healing, Reiki for world peace, distant attunements, state and national
legislation about the practice of Reiki, general chat about Reiki and healing,
etc., etc.  These are all very important topics, and very good things to be
involved in.  I belong to many of these groups myself.  However, there is no
other group that specifically focuses on helping people locate residential
workshops, conferences classes and other events.  Please avoid the temptation,
however worthy the cause, to try to devote entire posts to these other subjects
that have many groups devoted to them already and stick with our main purpose.

Of course, if you are offering a workshop on Reiki for world peace, legislation
info or business techniques for Reiki professionals, or something similar, then
that is obviously exactly what the members of this group want to hear about.  If
you are ever in doubt about whether to post a message to this group on a subject
that is near and dear to your heart or weighing on your mind, feel free to email
me privately at reikiquestions@... and ask for an opinion.  If it isn't
appropriate for posting here, I might be able to direct you to another group or
forum where you would get a better response.

***3.  Please  remember that we are here to help each other, so please try to
answer questions or offer advice about specific workshops, classes, seminars or
events when it would be helpful.

***4.   Please remember that the main focus of this group is on *residential*
workshops, classes, seminars and conferences, and on distance education NOT
simply on distance attunements.  There are many other places discussing
attunements.  We specialize in training and experience that comes either after
attunement or simulateous with it.  This is the only yahoogroups that focuses on
training in Reiki and other energy work.  Posts that are only concerned with
requests for attunements and not with training are off-topic and will not be
approved.

***5.  Please  do NOT post prices or costs for training in your messages to the
group.  Doing so will only lead to "price wars" and a focus on cost rather than
value.  Posts with price information in them will not be approved -- please
reserve price information for your website listings, and place a link to the
information in your post to the group. The same is true for saying that you
offer free training. Please keep your posts free of all price information.

***6.  On the other hand, please remember that this is an international list,
with members in many countries. It is VERY important that you remember to
include where a workshop or event is being held, when it will happen, and
contact information so that people can get in touch with you. You can post
either a web page link, or an email address, in your listing.

***7. Please remember that inclusion of a teacher on this discussion list
through a direct post, or in the Links, Calendar or Database sections, should
not be taken as an endorsement of their credentials, nor as a guarantee of their
qualifications to teach and certify. There is simply no way that I can check
everyone out with a list as large as this one has become. As with all things, if
you are seeking certification for professional practice or in order to teach,
ask questions and investigate before signing up for any course.

Some energy work systems, such as Karuna Reiki, Tera Mai, Lightarian, Australian
Sekhem, and others are trademarked in various countries and may only be taught
by licensed or authorized teachers -- who are often listed on the websites of
those groups. When in doubt, ask about credentials and check with the
authorizing body.

Other than those rules, please pay attention to these message basics:

If you mix up the two addresses, it won't be a major tragedy and I will probably
catch it and redirect the email appropriately.  However, please try to keep the
two addresses straight for your own peace of mind and to avoid embarassment.

Also -- and this is *very* important -- if you are set to the "digest" option
please make sure that your email software does NOT quote the entire message you
are replying to by turning this feature off in your email options.  If you need
help on this, email me and I'll be happy to explain it to you.  If you quote the
digest message, it will copy the *entire* digest of 20 to 25 messages back into
your reply and I will "bounce" the message back to you asking that you correct
it.

Another message reply basic:  Remember not to simply hit the reply button on
your email program if you want to ask for further information about a workshop. 
If you do that, your note will go to over 1,400 people automatically.  Click on
the email address of the person who posted the workshop to the list, and you
will send a private note just to them.  This is much more likely to quickly get
you the information that you need.  This is an international list, and please
remember that internet access is paid for by the minute in some countries so
message download time can be costly.  Please keep private messages off the
general list out of courtesy to others.

Also, please make certain that you have added mail from this group to your "no
spam" list in your email software or at the web email service you use or you
won't receive messages. If messages are rejected by your email address, the
yahoogroups program will "notice" it and you will be unsubscribed from the list.

HOW TO CHANGE YOUR LIST EMAIL OPTIONS TO RECEIVE LESS EMAIL

A lot of people who unsub from this list write a note saying that the amount of
email they receive is too large. With over 1400 members, the Reiki Workshops
list can generate several dozen messages per day. However, you have the option
to receive less email, or no email at all if you want to. You can still use the
web features such as the teacher database and calendar, and browse messages at
the website that are of interest to you.

When you join the group by email, you are automatically set to receive every
message posted to the list as an individual email message. You can change that
at any time.

First, at the bottom of every messsage sent out by this group is a signature
block that contains full information on resetting your email preferences by
simply sending one email to the yahoo list manager. Here is how it works:

If you want to receive only a single email message per day containing a "digest"
of all of the messages posted to the list that day, send a blank email message
to this address:

ReikiWorkshops-digest@yahoogroups.com

(On some days when a lot of things are posted to the list, or as we continue to
grow, you might receive two email digests per day. Each digest contains a
maximum of twenty or so messages.)

If you are on digest setting, *please* remember to set your email program so
that it does *not* quote the message you are replying to. Otherwise, you will
copy the entire digest -- all twenty odd messages -- back to the list with your
reply. If that happens, the message will be sent back to you with the request
that you edit out the extra material. (You might also want to copy the message
subject line of the message you are replying to into your subject line, and add
"Re:" at the beginning. Otherwise, your subject will read something like "Re:
[ReikiWorkshops] Digest No. 15" which is not very informative and may not get
noticed by the person you are writing to.

If you would like to receive no email at all from the group, but still be able
to view the ReikiWorkshops Calendar, the Teachers Database, the Links directory
and search messages posted to the list for events close to you or workshops on a
particular subject or by a particular teacher -- things that are only available
to group members -- then you can change your email setting to "No Email."

"No Email" means exactly what it says. You will receive no email messages at all
from the group, but will still be able to view everything you wish to see
through the group homepage at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/reikiworkshops To
set yourself to "No Email," send a blank email message to:

As a group member, you can still see all of the messages posted, and reply to

Reiki Tummo 1 & 2 workshops are the beginning of a blissful and
joyous
  experience of healing and enhancement of your spirituality. You can
  learn to channel Divine energy for healing not only yourself but
your
  friends and family and others.

Reiki Tummo level 1- Everyone must begin with this workshop even
though
  they may have received attunements previously from other Reiki
systems.
  In Level 1 workshop, you will have the capability and be taught how
to
  channel Reiki healing energy to yourself and others. In addition,
the
  level 1 attunement provides the initial kundalini activation and
  preparation for the kundalini awakening in Level 2. The crown,
heart
  and palm chakras are opened and the sushumna is cleansed. Your
  connection to both the Divine and Earth core energy are established

  this level.

Reiki Tummo level 2- In this workshop, your ability to channel Reiki
  healing energy is enhanced by teaching you Reiki symbols. The
kundalini
is awakened by opening the sushumna safely and gently and the
kundalini
  fire will reach at least the navel chakra. The third eye chakra is
  opened to help aid the sensing of subtle energies.
  Prerequisite: Reiki Tummo 1 and at least one practice of the self
  healing technique.

Kundalini Workshop- This workshop gives serious students some
  additional techniques to help to speed up the kundalini process.
  Prerequisite: Reiki Tummo Level 2 (available subject to
participation)

  Meditation: During the Meditation Workshop, the pineal gland is
  activated, and allows the mind to focus more effectively to achieve
a
  higher state of meditation. This level of focus is usually reached
only
  by those who have been practicing meditation for at least ten years.
  Prerequisite: Reiki Tummo Level 2(available subject to
participation)

  It is suggested to take both Reiki 1&2 workshops the same weekend.
If
  you will plan to attend the Reiki 2 workshop, and wish to attend
the
  Kundalini and Meditation workshop the same weekend, this can be
  arranged by giving you the Reiki 2 attunement in advance to the
  Kundalini and Meditation workshop but must be arranged in advance
to
  the workshop.
