On the 1st Friday of each month there is a Reiki Skills Enhancement
group that meets at the Spirit in Action Center, 6979 E. Broadway
#125, Tucson AZ from 7-9 pm.  This group is for practitioners of any
type of Reiki at any level.  We meet together to share information and
energy in a way that allows us to ask questions as they arise (even
when sharing the energy) and to correlate what we are experiencing
with what the receiver is experiencing.  Sometimes practitioners of
Reiki who do other techniques as well will attend, but it is always
stated clearly that the only technique to be intentionally used at
this group is Reiki - that provides a basis of converation and
understanding for all concerned.

Hello All,

Usuidojo Toronto has re-scheduled the summer weekend Usui-Do
introductory dojo to June 21 and 22. The event will be held within
easy access from Downtown Toronto and covers the levels rokyu to
shodan (see http://www.usui-do.org for information on levels). The
dojo fee is $250 Canadian which includes a traditional Japanese
certificate. The event will be presented by Dave King and Laurie Anne
King who have a direct spiritual connection to Mikao Usui via his

Hands on Prayer through Reiki - Integrating Spiritual Mind Treatment,
with Sacred Ancient Techniques. Movement, meditation and balancing
methods. SEEING and KNOWING WHOLENESS

REIKI is a Japanese word meaning Universal Life Force Energy. It is
an ancient form of hands-on healing. Reiki energy flows Unconditional
Love  through the practitioner, out through the hands and into the
client. Reiki healing is used to release blocks, to direct energy, to
raise frequency and vibration which boosts the life force of the
client so that he or she can experience greater physical, emotional,
mental HEALTH, HARMONY and WELL-BEING.

In this workshop you will learn and practice the Reiki hands-on
techniques and you will receive Reiki I & II "attunements" which open
the student's energy centers and aligns them to the Reiki energy.

I'm not certain what would be appropo as far as listing course prices;
some people think money is a private matter and others don't.

But a suggestion for Reiki styles or schools might be to have
practitioners list sites with info on their main style(s), and then
perhaps create a link list of the most popular and/or clearest
information, such as listing the link for Milner's website if one wants
to read about the Tera Mai™ styles at the source, etc.

I am holding a '2-day Meridian Therapies EFT Practitioner Training' in

Hello!

Reiki Workshops and Conferences has only been in existence for a
little over a day, and we're off to a very good start.  As I write
this note, we have grown so quickly that out of 516 Reiki groups at
yahoogroups, we already rank as the 88th largest group!  And we
are still so new that we are not yet appearing in the yahoogroups
listing, and word has barely started to get out about what we are
trying to provide.

Aside from letting you know that, I wanted to let you know something
that is much more important.  I have set up the Database section at
the group home page (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ReikiWorkshops)
and am inviting teachers and workshop leaders to enter information
there about the classes that they teach.  As time goes on, you will
be able to search for beginning and advanced classes of interest to
you in your area, or locate teachers of particular styles or energy
work modalities anywhere in the world.

A few links have also been added to the link section to resource web
sites.  If you have a site that should be added to that section,
