Hello all,

The Reiki Workshops list has been dormant for about a year now, and I
wanted to let everyone know that it is coming back to life.

I am Will Beckwith, the new moderator and owner of the Reiki
Workshops list. Jeff, who founded the list, has asked me to take
over the list and see if it can again be a service to the Reiki and
energy healing community worldwide.

Jeff was seriously injured in an auto accident last year, and ongoing
personal problems have caused him to give up his work with Reiki for
the foreseeable future. He had actually asked me to take over the
list several months ago (I was Jeff's first Reiki teacher and have
known him for some years), but I suffered some heart-related health
problems of my own that kept me sidelined until now.

I'm back on my feet now, and the transfer of the group has been
completed. Messages will be going through again, and hopefully this
list will once more be a central source of information on Reiki and
other energy work training and education. Please feel free to start
sending your workshop and class announcements through to the list
again.

I also ask that you send Reiki to Jeff for his continued healing on
all levels. The last year has not been an easy one for him.

Just to let you know a bit about me, I have been a member of Reiki
Workshops since shortly after it started. I took my initial Reiki
training back in 1974, and my Master training around twelve years
ago. I also have training in several flavors of Seichim, as well as
MariEl Healing, Tibetan Reiki, Japanese Reiki techniques, Qigong,
Healing Touch, and Quantum Touch. I am also an ordained Lutheran
minister with some advanced degrees and a lot of training and
experience in counseling, spirituality, spiritual direction, and
spiritual coaching.
