Dear fellow members
I request all of you to kindly send the Reiki for me for balancing my
energy patterns as I am very much disturb in mentally and physically
due to my colleague.
As my colleague rejected me that she cant merry with me. I was quite
much sure that she would accept me with her attitude, her fallings,
and her words but when I proposed her she jest reject me.
Her decision not only disturbed my energy but I am now thinking to

According to this response from William's Domain Provider the CRAP
Letters originated from Sydney, Australia.

I only know of two Reiki bodies in Sydney, Australia.

That is not to suggest that they are responsible as it could be a
third party altogether, a disgruntled student or group that opposes
Reiki, so it is not wise to jump to any conclusions.

I hope the matter clears up soon and that it results in a greater
clarity of purpose and strength of community within the Reiki
populace.

The type of intentions declared in the CRAP Letters are scary and
despite the threats it at least serves as a wake up call to all
Reiki Masters to discourage monetary/ego/power abuse and to maintain
genuine integrity of purpose and intention; that being to nurture
healing and enlightenment selflessly.

Hello,

A new group has been started called Reiki Workshops and Conferences.
It is designed to be a clearinghouse for announcements of local,
national and international training events and gatherings so that
people can more easily keep up to date on their skills, or learn new
ones.  It covers all styles of Reiki, as well as similar or related
energy healing modalities like Seichim/SHKM, Chios, Quantum Touch,
etc.

In addition to providing a place for teachers and workshop leaders to
list what they are offering, it also provides a place for others to
share their input on various forms of training.  You can ask, and
give, opinions on what events and workshops have been of most benefit
to you personally so that others can gain from your experience.

Mutual respect and sharing is the most important rule on the list,
and hopefully everyone can benefit from the information that will be
posted there.  Flaming of any kind is absolutely against the rules.
Personal attacks on other list members, styles or schools or Reiki or
other energy work, individual teachers, individual events, etc. are
off topic and will not be allowed.

If you want to say that one particular event or teacher is terrific,
this is the place to do so as long as you don't put others down while
praising.  If you want to say that an event you attended was less
than what you hoped or expected, you can do that as well as long as
you aren't insulting or abusive in the way you say it.  The idea is
to share information that will help all of us to grow and to learn.

i have been attuned to reiki 2

after the attunement i have visited number of sites on reiki and i have realised
that my reiki master did not explain the whole concept and working of reiki

in a nut shell i will tell u what my master told me about reiki 2

give hszsn,shk and ckr, say the name three times and give the positive intention
using the present tense e.g my family is very happy. we love each otehr

this all has to be done while your eyes are closed and hand clasped together.if
u happen to open your eyes then your link is  broken

and afte every 5 minues u should repeat all the three symbols

and while ending the reiki session repeat the symobls again

that is all what i have been taught

can u mail me some manual or some information which can guide me properly as i
would like to help others too

can u also guide me if there is any site where i can have online chat with
people who practice reiki to share our expereicnes

although i have been attuned for 2nd degree reiki but i would like
some one to help me and my family
in our family we are facing many relationship problems between
myself and my husband, between the children and my husband and of
course between my daugher and myself
a few days back we were a close knit family
but i do notknow what has gone wrong
can any body from the reiki group pray for me and guide me how to
save my family from breaking up

i have just been attuned to 2nd degree reiki
i am still not clear about giving intentions in distant reiki
can any one guide how dou give intentions
is the intention same for every one i.e. I am sending reiki energy,light and
love to the the highest good of the person concerned or
u can give specific intentions also
like
for speedy recovery
or for better results in the exams
or for better marital relations
or for success in some specific job

moreover how do u come to know that your reiki is reaching the person concerned
and it is going to help him
may be u r doing something wrong or may be u r not following the proper
guidelines
and when u send reiki to many people simultenously does the intensity of energy
being sent is same for  every one

Some of the questions you have asked suggest to me that you are
taking a rather formulaic approach to healing. You have been attuned,
you know how the flow of healing energy feels, you have your own form
of visualisation, so, after you have prepared yourself, relax and

Not generally - and not if you are a Reiki I healer and have not been
given the symbols yet. If you have them, you should feel free to use
them when you feel that it is appropriate.

Your intention in undertaking a healing should be firmly established
at the start. During the healing itself you should be absorbed into
the process itself. Worrying about whether your intentions may have
unwittingly changed is just another way of deflecting your

Whether your eyes are open or not is irrelevant. You can heal while
you are riding the bus or bathing the kids so long as you can reserve
that part of you that provides the healing channel.

This suggests to me that you are formulating very specific
intentions. It is better to simply remember that your role is that of
a conduit and your influence on the specific effect of the healing is
nil. Simply intend the best result for the client - whatever that may
be - and accept that this is not something that you can direct or
control.

Once you have drawn them you can "park" their visualised forms
somewhere handy. You don't need to redraw them at any set interval -
only when you feel the need to do so.

Once again, thsi suggests that you are being too specific in
formulating your intentions. The good of the client is specific
enough and is common to all.

Sometimes doing it while performing routine chores can be even better
than trying to achive a quiet meditative state! If your mind normally
follows a train of thought unrelated to the mundane task you are
doing at the time, you have all the necessary mental capabilities for
sending Reiki under the same circumstances.

These are my personal thoughts but it is important you recognise that
what feels right to you while you feel the Reiki energy flowing is
the right thing - for you. It is not necessarily right for everybody.
This is why Reiki "training" is a matter of attunement and building
up a body of experience, rather than learning a book of rules and
procedures.

I hope this helps in some small way.

I want to know if some can suggest me something regarding the special
healing method for treatment of cancer of pancreas.my mother is
suffering from adenocarcinoma of pancreas which is not
operable .raditherapy or chemotherapy has also no role.she is having
severe vomitting and pain.I know there is no treatment but can some
one suggest some thing to reduce her sufferings.

Dear friends and contacts

I was particularly distressed to read a comprehensive article in
today's "Daily Mail" (09.05.2003-Friday) paper about a trade in cat
and dog furs. This is no hoax (I wish it was) and is on pages 10,11 of
today's paper.

The trade originates in two places: the majority from China, the other
from "cat"/"dog" napped pets in locations including London UK.

Retail outlets in Europe including locations visited by the Daily Mail
reporter in Belgium and Holland are selling fur blankets and coats
made from cat and dog fur. Apparently cat fur blankets are supposed to
help arthritic pain! In another incident a coat made from over forty
Alsatian puppies was sold publicly in Berlin, Germany.

The means of capturing and killing cats in particular is obscene. Cats
are captured from locations including London, held in a packed cage
until their coats are in prime size and condition. They are then
strangled with a noose by poking the noose into the cage and
throttling the cat by holding it off the ground. This apparently
preserves the quality of the "pelt".

The Daily mail reporter apparently noted that some cats were clearly
former domestic pets, one was even still wearing a collar with a heart
shaped ID tag. The photos in the article are sure to haunt me for some
time.

In some cases animal fur is apparently dyed to pass it off as fur of
other animals. In other cases people are actually seeking our cat and
dog fur because its unusual, or for medicinal purposes.

There are clearly a number of issues here:
1. The ethics of fur trading as a whole since the animals are only
being killed for their coats and no other reason.
2. Method of killing the animals
3. Method of containing/ housing the animals before killing them
4. Theft of domestic pets

PLEASE canvass your local MP and MEPs to support the calls for
specific action banning the sale of these goods and prosecuting the

We dream of tousends of people sending Reiki for Peace.I thougt that
it will be easier, but I learned that alone ,I do not have abilities
to ask so many people to do so :).I ask you,if you have some time and
want to ,please tell friends, students, masters and others(other
discussion groups,internet-sites,portals,organisations etc) to send
Reiki for Peace,especially at 8 pm GMT(a lot of people already do so).
There is a group of people who do it everyday, but there have to be
more of us.They do not have to belong to this group-the most
important is that they send Reiki for Peace.

Reiki is really powerfull, just imagine tousends of peolple sending
Reiki for Peace everyday(at the same time)-it can make great resoults-
  miracles !!!!

But not only "Reikins" can help,a true prayer also has a grat power
(especially at 8 pm GMT)!The problem is that very little people
knows it.Another one that people often forgot to pray for Peace
thinking that it won't change anything...

But here is our role - we can ask them to do it.

Another thing is that I need somebody who can tranlslate invitation
letter to other languages to invite,inform people who do not speak
English.
It would be really great if there are peole who want to create sister
groups to ours in other languages.

Peace,with articles ,thoughts,informations.With links to this group
and sister groups.
Where people not attuned to Reiki,who want to help us can find a
