In November of 2004, I injured my back severely I had cracked two discs in the
lower back and was in great pain. After many months of pain I decided to have
the back surgery the doctor had recommended he said he could repair the disc but
could not guarantee that the pain or the lack of movement could be regained
completely.
So in March of 2006. I had the surgery. When waking up the physician told me
there was more damage done then they thought, so the surgery had gone on longer
than expected. They did repair the disc and I should be home in about 10 to 14
days.
Needless to say, I was in quite discomfort the first day, that evening a friend
came to visit and along with her she brought a friend. She introduce Pattie as a
Reiki Practitioner and teacher. Pattie explained that she could do a massage on
me, one that did not require putting her hands on me, but when she was done. She
said I should not have any pain......right!!!!
What did I have to lose? I was not going anywhere.
Pattie then placed her hands above my head and closed her eyes and started
breathing. Within minutes, I started to feel a warm sensation enter the top of
my head. She then went down my body and did the same at different locations on
my body, and each time the heat followed....
