Hi Cathy, Thanks for writing back--Mario has not had many test yet, just
the x-ray. The nurse just called me to confirm that he does have reflux.
What do you feed your son? There are so many things Mario can't eat I don't
know what to make. We are going on a little vacation this weekend(we'll be
eating in restaurants), what is he going to eat? Another thing I wanted to
ask you is, how did you find out what foods Justin is allergic to? Mario is
on Zantac and yes, his bed is raised. Does reflux go away?? The doctor
said it is common with children. Is this true?? I have to go now, but I

hi Brooke,

welcome to our group. My son is Justin , he is 12 and has eosinophil
esophagitis along with reflux. what foods do you need to avoid for your
son's
reflux? The usual are chocolate, tomato, spices, onion,& soda, Is he taking
any meds? is the head of his bed elevated? that will help. What tests has he
had to determine the reflux?
